Contributions to the fanzine are welcomed and readily invited.

ART

The mini Fighting Fantasy adventure presented each issue requires 10 major black and white pieces (2 of which are presented full page) and 6 minor spacing illustrations. All 16 pieces are each provided with a brief for the artist from the writer of the mini adventure. The AFF mini adventures a varying number of illustrations with the brief provided by the writer of the adventure. The front cover and back cover are in full colour, with the front cover content tied to a brief from the writer of the mini adventure.

TEXT

We are on the look out for fan fiction set in the world of Titan, articles spanning the range from light-hearted whimsy to more in depth academic-style pieces and everything in between. The Mini Adventure: We are also seeking writers to provide 200 reference Fighting Fantasy adventures for the magazine. Those who take up this challenge will be required to submit the adventure by the deadline, as well as much earlier supplying the art briefs mentioned above so that the engaged artist for that issue may complete the artwork by the same deadline. AFF Mini Adventure: Submissions for these should be no longer than 10, 000 words and have no more than 2 locations or 5 major NPCs. Also needed would be art briefs for the illustrator.

SUBMISSION GUIDELINES

  1. All your submitted material must be your own work (bar being based on the Fighting Fantasy or Advanced Fighting Fantasy gaming systems and worlds for which permission has been sought) and may not be copied in whole or in part, from any published or copyrighted source, without prior written consent, license, or open content disclosure of the original creator. By submitting material to the magazine you agree that all content is of your own original creation and that you have the legal right to publish or create the content for us without restrictions.
  2. On the whole we are looking for new and original material to publish in Fighting Fantazine. Material that has already been published by yourself elsewhere however will be considered for publication if a sufficently good case can be made for doing so.
  3. If you wish to later publish independently material contributed to the magazine, please do so after consultation with the Editor, and include links to the magazine site along with your material.
  4. Items can be sent to the editor via email (see main page for contact address) as long as the text is in a readable format (.pages .txt .rtf .docx/.doc for example) and the art in a standard format (like .jpg for example) and of high resolution.
  5. Items of interest that will go to the top of the 'has potential to be published' pile include:
    • Letters
    • Short one (1) or three (3) panel cartoons
    • Comics of no more than eight (8) pages in length (per installment)
    • Articles on the places and characters of the inworld universe of Titan (or the interplanetary locations of the space-based titles)
    • Monster descriptions for the "Out of the Pit" column
    • 'How I became a fan' personal stories for "The Magic Quest" column
    • Full colour, full page Fighting Fantasy-based art for the back cover
